About me
In 2016, friends from my hometown of Pawłowice took me to Kobyla Skała in Wisła, and it changed my whole life. I've been climbing ever since. After moving to Kraków I joined the Sakwa club and the Forteca climbing centre crowd, where I kept improving my skills. Climbing with Jakub and Łukasz Kołodziej (no relation) and being mentored by Mateusz Martynowicz and Michał Czech were especially important for me — which makes me all the happier that we now work together.
From 2019 I was a member of the PZA Youth Group, and later of the PZA national team. In that time I led several sport routes graded VI.6, a trad route graded VI.5+ and hundreds of other climbs on rock and in the mountains around the world.
I've climbed in the mountains of Georgia, Morocco, Jordan, the USA, Peru and Argentina, as well as in the Alps, the Dolomites and the Tatras.
I've been a sport climbing instructor since 2021, and in 2023 I qualified as a therapeutic climbing instructor. Always looking to raise my skills, in 2025 I became a PZA Rock Climbing Instructor. Over these few years I've run dozens of courses, and hundreds of new climbers have passed through my hands.
Besides running courses, I coach children and adults. Many of the climbers I coach are on the national team, achieve top results at Polish Championships and Polish Cup events, and climb up to 8b+ on rock.
For me, what matters most in climbing is:
- ethics
- being close to nature
- the community
- safety
and only then the sporting result — and that's what I try to teach the people I coach.
